CHROME CHRISTMAS — JUSTIN BIEBER.

I have the Bieber bug.

That’s right, I have a fever caused by Bieber. It might be a little outlandish though to ask for Biebs in a box. So I’ve decided to settle for concert tickets instead.

Let’s get one thing straight here before I start, I have never not liked Justin Bieber. I’m just not some crazy Belieber or anything like that. I’ve always thought super fans like that were a little bit ridiculous & that goes with any celebrity/pop star.

But yes, I’ve always been a fan of Justin. I haven’t been following JB since the Kidrauhl days but he caught my attention the moment I had first heard “One Time.” I remember when me & my best friend Alex were working at AT&T we would stand at the kiosk all day & bump Justin’s entire acoustic album & sing our hearts out like we weren’t supposed to be selling phones or something. Those days were the best.

Anyways, in 2014 Justin had went though quite a rough patch. Between his recovery from breaking up with Selena Gomez to his DUI arrest, things weren’t looking so good. It was hard being a fan at this time knowing that Justin was being a dipshit; he was making it so hard for you to love him. It’s pretty safe to say that JB lost a good amount of fans that year.

Well here we are in 2015 & the Biebs is here to play. But most importantly, he’s here to say sorry — no pun intended. 2014 really took a toll on Justin & it had been his goal for 2015 to try to make up for that. It is obvious that he can’t fix the damage he has done but he can at least try to make it up to his fans, friends, family, & even himself. Justin has done numerous interviews throughout the year to express his apology & has even done things like the Comedy Central Roast as a form of public punishment.

As 2015 comes to a close were able to enjoy Justin’s latest album, Purpose. The album is a whole new sound for JB as he takes on a record that seems something like an EDM ballad. It’s definitely far from the R&B, pop sound that we’re used to hearing from Justin. EDM ballad might sound a little bit corny but with proper production & Justin’s vocals, everything fits just right. Lyrically, it can be a bit short at times but it doesn’t lessen the value of his words in the least bit. Sometimes you don’t have to say a lot but just what you really mean & after all, this is his apology album.

In 2016 we can look forward to seeing more of Justin as he takes on his world tour. On March 20-23, he’ll be here in Los Angeles at the Staples Center & hopefully I can get some tickets to go. I haven’t been to a big arena concert like this before so it would be a new experience for me. Plus, Justin Bieber is super talented & an amazing live singer. I already know it would be so much fun to go see him.
