COACHELLA 2017 LINEUP REVEALED.

After months of rumors and speculating, the Coachella 2017 lineup is finally here.

For some reason it seemed that 2017 had more fake lineups circulating the web than any other year before and for some weird reason, all the rumors were pretty spot on?

Maybe this is a result of music festivals being more or less the same in recent years. It’s almost as if Coachella happens like 12 times a year. So don’t give in to FOMO just yet. If you can’t make it to Coachella to see your favorite artist, chances are you’ll have the chance to see them at Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Made in America, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Ultra Music Festival, etc. See what I’m saying? There’s a TON.

However, I won’t discredit Coachella for putting together an awesome group of artists. The internet’s reaction to this lineup made it pretty clear that people are going to be more than ready to drop $399 on GA wristbands tomorrow,  1/4/2017, when tickets go on sale at 11am PST. Weekend one will be April 14-16 and weekend two will be April 21-23.

But before I go, I just want to mention how upset I am that Daft Punk is not on the lineup. That was one rumor that I had continuously heard and was so hoping for it to be true 💔. I’m also upset that Solange didn’t make the cut. I could just picture how perfect her Coachella performance would be but I’m sure we can expect her to stop by during one of the weekends to join her sister Beyoncé on stage for a song or two.

Regardless, this is a great and well-balanced lineup featuring new, old, and people we haven’t seen in a while. I’m not sure that I will be making it out to the festival this year but happy Coachella-ing to all that do.
