The mix features Lully, Grimes, Kali Uchis, Empress Of, Abra, and more. Noodle has quite the taste and reminds us that women in music are evolving. The diversity of all the featured artists should be a sign to us that the scene, sounds and faces of music are changing. Even though the radio doesn’t want you to believe that.
Gorillaz has stood the test of time being one of the most respected and sought after artists of this generation. The way they pair genius, mystery, and creativity has us craving for just one more taste at any chance we could get. The band has been sneaking around details of a fifth album but I am hopeful after this mix that we will be hearing new music from Gorillaz this upcoming year.
